ASTEROID BOB

Come say hi! I'll have a booth at the Alaska Gamedev Expo 2026, hosted by the Alaska Developers Alliance at the Egan Center (555 W 5th Ave, Anchorage, AK) from 1–5 PM. It's a free, open-floor event — stop by to see Asteroid Bob's progress and play a build in person.

About

Asteroid Bob is a small physics playground about a very small astronaut on a lot of very small worlds. You wake up in a shelter parked on the grassy deck of a glass-domed planetoid, step outside, and the rest of the asteroid field is yours to wander.

Every world here is small enough to walk all the way around — gravity just curls with the ground beneath your boots. Jump the gaps you can reach, wall-jump the ones you can't, and when a planet's too far off to simply walk to, fire off a pull-beam and let it reel you in across open space.

Curl into a ball to pick up speed rolling downhill, duck underwater on the rare world that's gone liquid at the edges, and keep an eye out for the one planetoid that isn't a planet at all — step inside and you're the ball in a full-size pinball table, flippers and all.

There's no quest log and no handholding — just a belt of odd little worlds strung together by beam-teleporters, waiting to be hopped between. I'm building it solo, a planetoid at a time.
